TSA Blog Lets You Sound Off on Security Gripes

Peeved at the TSA?

Fed up over having to strip when you go through airport-security?

Now you can air your complaints to the Transportation Security Administration through their new blog.

Their "Evolution of Security" blog is designed to allow flyers to vent their frustrations, and to provide a forum for the agency to explain the security process and learn from customer feedback.

A recent Associated Press poll found that the Transportation Safety Administration was the least-liked federal agency except for FEMA (the Federal Emergency Management Agency).

Some experts fear the blog will turn into one big gripe-fest.

Here's just a sample of recent forum posts:

- "Confiscating deodorant and sun block? Does anyone believe that this kabuki security theater really makes us safer?"

- "The TSA liquid policy is ludicrous and indefensible. It suggests that 6 oz of liquid can blow up a plane but two 3-oz containers can't."

-"As the wife of a pilot, I thank you for all that you do to keep our planes safe. However, recently my bag was searched, which is fine, but they unzipped a bag that had all my medical supplies in it and did not re-zip it causing everything to fall out all through my suitcase. These items were to remain sterile, and now I have to throw them away."

-"Why not profile those who are the highest risk such as those of middle eastern descent? Those in our goverment forgot it was Muslims that crashed those planes into the WTC not your every day American. I am a fan of profiling in the name of national security, I do not believe it is racist or unfair in the least."
